Our Location
Rapidly becoming renown as ..“the Powder Capital of the Andes”!!… the exclusive Puma Lodge Heli ski district is situated at an entirely unique and very privileged location on the continent, where the DEEPEST most abundant SNOWFALLS of anywhere in central Andes regularly occurs!.
Our private operating terrain encompasses over 3000 sq km of virgin mountain wilderness. Comprised of 3 separate and unique mountain ranges in the central Andes of Chile, all within a short & comfortable 2,5 hr drive south of the Santiago International airport. …….Which just happens to make this one of the shortest commute time from an international airport to any major Heli ski destination in the world!…..
Here over 50 independent permanent Glaciers reside along side some of the tallest and most dramatic of the mythical Andes peaks. With towering spires and vast apron walls of red and grey granite, most of which have never been climbed, skied or realized by man before.
In fact, the vast Cortaderal range located at the southerly end of our exclusive operating region, has a striking similarity, both in shape, size and features, to the Massive Du Mont Blanc, which shares its boundaries with Italy, Switzerland & France and is the highest mountain in western Europe.
With the Argentine border to the East and the front range of the Cipreses National Park to the West, the Northern and Southern regions of the Puma Lodge district are naturally bound by some of our tallest peaks, reaching 5000m, magnificent rivers as well as by the longest of our glaciers, some 13kms in length and dropping over 2300 vertical meters.
………Our courteous shuttle service delivers you to the staging area located at front range of the Puma Lodge district by way of a modern freeway and well maintained paved mountain roadway system….
