Prices and Conditions 2012 Season

At ChileanHeliSki we offer a choice of 3 or 6 day Private or Semi Private heli ski all-inclusive packages. Each package is offered at a very competitive price.

Private/Small Heli Ski Package – Groups of 4 skiers per Helicopter.
Semi Private Heli Ski Package – Groups of 8 skiers per Helicopter.
Backcountry Ski Package – Groups of 4 skiers per guide.

We reserve the right to group skiers of similar abilities and experience together in order to ensure that our clients achieve the best possible skiing experience. This will allow us to optimize the efficiency of our operation and ensure group dynamics.

We invite you to compare prices, client satisfaction, vertical meters per run, pilot and mountain guide professional certification and experience with any other Heli ski operation in the world. We are certain you will not be disappointed.

• Final night at the new 5 star Noi Vitacura in Santiago

6 Days Private/Small Heli Ski Package – USD 13,539.00/ skier (price based on 4 people). This includes 10 hours of flight time (7 guaranteed) or 30,000 Vertical Meters of skiing [which ever comes first] 


6 Days Semi Private Heli Ski Package – USD 12,949.00/ skier (price based on 8 people). This includes 16 hours of flight time (12 guaranteed) or 30,000 Vertical Meters of skiing [whichever comes first]


3 Days Private Heli Ski Package – USD 7,959.00/ skier (price based on 4 people). This includes 6 hours of flight time (4 guaranteed) or 15,000 Vertical Meters of skiing [which ever comes first]


3 Days Semi Private Heli Ski Package – USD 7,609.00/skier (price based on 8 people). This includes 11.5 hours of flight time (8 guaranteed) or 15,000 Vertical Meters of skiing [whichever comes first]


All 6 days Heli Ski packages begin on Saturdays, the final ski day being Friday.
All 3 days Heli Ski packages begin on Saturdays or Tuesdays. The final ski day will be Tuesday or Friday.

+BACKCOUNTRY SKi PACKAGES

In 2012 ChileanHeliSki is excited to announce another product to our guests; a 4 Day Backcountry Ski Package. 

4 Day Backcountry Ski Package includes:

• Ground transportation from Santiago [Optional Heli Transfer is available for an additional cost]

• 4 nights at Puma Lodge Accommodation [Single room occupancy is standard]

• 2 hot meals plus a Chilean “Tea Time” daily

• Internationally certified, experienced UIAGM / IVBV / IFMGA mountain guides

• Training and use of Mountain & Avalanche safety material:

• Snowpulse Avalanche Airbag packs

• Mammut Pulse Avalanche Transceivers, Shovels & Probes

• Recco reflectors

• Mandatory practice sessions prior to skiing

• 3 helicopter lifts. One per day, backcountry ski, helicopter access, ascent or traverse, depending on day and people, conditions, technical level and abilities

• 3 hours flight time

 

PRICING:

4 Day Backcountry Ski Package: USD3850.00/skier (price based on 4 people group)

All 4 day Back Country Ski packages begin on Saturdays, the final ski day being Wednesday.

+BOOKING & RESERVATIONS

A deposit is required to confirm your reservation and is due at the time of booking. Please note that space is confirmed upon deposit and it is on a first come basis. 

Deposits are as follows:

6 Day Package – USD 2000.00.

3 Day Package – USD 1500.00.

Final payment is due 60 days prior to the start of your Heli Ski holiday.

All prices are in US dollars and are charged at the mid market exchange rate the day payment is made.

Heli Ski package prices are not guaranteed until paid in full. Prices may change at any time due to fluctuations in international currency exchange rates affecting the cost of scheduled aircraft maintenance and fuel costs.

Deposits can be made by the following methods: VISA, Master Card, AMEX, or Bank wire.

 

REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY:

Once your Heli Ski holiday is booked and monies paid are credited to that booking, If cancellation occurs 60 to 40 days before departure, there will be 25% reimbursement of the trip fee. If the participant cancels 39 days before departure, all money becomes fully non-refundable.

If you are unable to travel with us after payments have been made, monies are fully transferable to another date or another person within the same season. If you are unable to find another date that is suitable or you are unable to find another participant no refund will be issued. A credit for the next season can be arranged for a percentage of the total amount, at the discretion of ChileanHeliSki.

If, for any reason, anyone leaves the trip before its completion, there will be no reimbursement of fees. In the case of the participant’s need for a rescue, the participant is responsible for any expenses incurred.

REFUND due to “No Fly Days”: A generous refund for vertical meters not achieved during your Heli Ski holiday due to either inclement weather or technical issues leading to a “no fly day” is provided. Refunds are applicable for and when the guaranteed vertical meters per package are not achieved at a rate of USD100/1000 vertical meters.

Refunds will not apply if the participant decides to not continue skiing/boarding for any other reason.
ChileanHeliSki recommends that all clients purchase cancellation / trip interruption insurance at the time of deposit.

If ChileanHeliSki chooses to cancel a trip for reasons other than the above stated, payment will be refunded in full except for credit card fees, if any.

ADDITIONAL HELI SKIING:

Additional Heli Ski time is available and is charged at USD2400/hour per full group.

Notas a Precios & Condiciones

• En el caso de que un grupo semi-privado sea solo de 4 o menos personas las horas a las que los esquiadores tienen derecho son las de un grupo privado.

• Las personas deben tener un nivel de esquí de intermedio hacia arriba, esto no es para principiantes. Los guías se reservan el derecho de negar la participación a personas que no posean un nivel de esquí mínimo que ponga en riesgo la integridad del grupo.

• En Español traducir grupo privado a grupo de 4 personas y semi-privado a grupo de 8 personas (para evitar que privado se malinterprete. Privado se refiere que es hasta 4 personas, pero no exclusivo.
